Who’s ready for a real haircut? What about popcorn and soda in front of a big screen? Whatever you’ve been missing these past few months, get ready to embrace it again as Texas reopens. Things may look a little different, but soon you’ll be back at the mall, movie theater, gym, and salons in some capacity.

Texas to Begin Re-Opening

It’s important to note that restrictions ease businesses must still comply with some COVID-19 restrictions. Currently, you can expect to see fewer people in one building at a time since businesses are limited to 25% of maximum capacity. Masks are also recommended (strongly), but not required at this point.

Remember to Prioritize Caution and Safety

It’s exciting to see our favorite businesses reopening, but remember, we’re not out of the woods with COVID-19. There are still recommendations in place to prevent a coronavirus rebound, so it’s suggested that you continue to stay home when possible to limit your exposure.

If you go out, don’t forget to follow basic precautions and established COVID-19 safety tips:

  • Wear a mask with multiple layers. It should be breathable, cover your nose and mouth, and fit snugly against your face.
  • Avoid touching your face while you’re in public.
  • Pay online as much as you can to avoid using cash or credit card machines.
  • Keep hand sanitizer with you to use while you’re out and can’t wash your hands.
  • Wash your hands regularly at home.
  • Continue with your daily routine, and take care of your mental, physical, and oral health.
