Dr. Rakhee Chawla, DDS is a Lead Regional Dental Director serving the Plano area of Dallas, Texas. Dr. Chawla has extensive experience in all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry and is one of the few leading dentists in Jefferson Dental Clinics who was awarded the Best Doctor NPS award in her first year of practicing dentistry with Jefferson for exceptional patient satisfaction score. Her friendly and caring personality helps patients obtain the best patient-centered dental care. She is very detail oriented and believes in evidence based dentistry to provide quality dental treatment.

She graduated from NYU College of Dentistry in 2013. Prior to continuing education in US, in 1995, Dr. Chawla had acquired an International Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery in India and was practicing Comprehensive Dentistry for many years. Dr. Chawla completed her honors program in Endodontics and Esthetic Dentistry from NYU College of Dentistry and continues to stay updated with new advancements and techniques including lasers in the field of dentistry. She is certified in Invisalign treatment and provides ortho-correction with clear aligners.

In 2012, based on her scholarly accomplishments at NYUCD, she was inducted in OKU (Omicron Kappa Upsilon) National Dental Honors Society. In May 2013, she was awarded Eugene Rothschild Memorial award by the New York Academy of Oral Rehabilitation for demonstrating excellence in the field of Fixed Prosthodontics. Dr. Chawla lives in DFW with her husband and her two teenage sons. She loves to travel in her spare time.
