The International Joke Day, or simply “joke day”, is the date when people around the world can take time to share jokes with each other. Let’s not get this confused with April Fools day, or a time to play pranks on someone you love (or maybe hate). All it’s about is to make someone laugh, or at least crack a smile.

The International Joke Day, or simply “joke day”, is the date when people around the world can take time to share jokes with each other. Let’s not get this confused with April Fools day, or a time to play pranks on someone you love (or maybe hate). All it’s about is to make someone laugh, or at least crack a smile.

We know making people laugh by telling jokes can be somewhat challenging; after all, not everyone is adept at telling jokes. So, for purposes of maintaining an end goal, we suggest we make the International Joke Day, the “International Laugh Day”. That way we’re not subject to only making people laugh by telling them jokes.

The effects of laughter are normally overlooked, because we tend to focus only on the action of laughing. Did you know that laughter releases endorphins which make us feel happier and more comfortable? The other effects may seem trivial, but they are not. Laughter is a physical demonstration of happiness and being at ease. And it shines through a large, beautiful smile.

So let’s remember that a beautiful smile is not necessarily cosmetic, but oral hygiene and dental care can always make our smile even brighter and contagious. Simple things like regular checkups, a good discipline in brushing our teeth regularly (we recommend three times per day), and even some very affordable whitening treatments, can get the job done. So don’t forget; if we work on it together, maybe we can have daily “Joke Day” days.
